The weary Doormice Archivists, Court Linguists, and Squires of Inquiry are currently recovering the long-lost recordings of the First Doormice.

The collection shall not be titled until the Royal Surgeon Oculist can finish decoding the original Author's unfathomably curious script. There have, however, been rumours of a smaller collection entitled "Music for Hands."

When the main Collection is at last released, it will provide valuable clues to the missing portions of the "Intimations" chapter "How King Mouse of Socks Discovered Music." All the Doormice know of this legend are the children's stories told to baby Mice in their nests, while tiny music boxes crank out tiny scores to tiny dreams.

The Doormice Archival Team is represented by the following Scientist-Musicians:

C. Gray: Guitars, Bass, Programming, and Production.
Chris O.: Piano, Keyboards, Razorblades.
J. Shaffer: Violin, Giggling, Sushi.
J. Thompson: Guitar and Various Instruments, Conspirator
Sarah E.: Violin, Laughter, "What?"
M. Boyle: Diagetic Sound, Guitar, Distance
T. Marks: Percussion, Plastic Police Badge.

While a group has not been arranged to provide live accompaniment to the Doormice's yearly Festivals, the Archival Team would absolutely love to do so.
